Stella is the Founding Partner of SilkenPath Law, specializing in U.S.–China cross-border investments, financing transactions, and domestic U.S. mergers and acquisitions. She possesses extensive expertise in U.S. and Chinese corporate law, securities regulation, and government compliance matters.

She regularly advises publicly listed companies and growth-stage businesses in both the United States and China, with a particular focus on industries including artificial intelligence, e-commerce, life sciences, manufacturing, real estate, and renewable energy. Her clients include Chinese companies expanding into the U.S. market as well as U.S.-based businesses, ranging from emerging enterprises to established institutions. She also serves as outside general counsel to a number of U.S. organizations, including a nationally recognized private secondary school with more than a century of history and a leading renewable energy company.

Prior to founding SilkenPath Law, Stella practiced at Hogan Lovells, one of the world’s leading international law firms, where she advised on complex cross-border transactions and large-scale global corporate restructurings, including IBM’s worldwide restructuring initiatives. Through this work, she developed substantial experience in international investments, mergers and acquisitions, and multinational business operations.
